Celebrate Arbor Day and Great Barrington Trees at a tree-centric day hosted at the Mason Library including:
- A downtown chalk art festival *
- Free seedlings and planting advice
- Pollinator plan for Mason Library
- Self-guided downtown GB tree map
- Memorial tree planting and dedication
- River Walk upstream tree ID challenge
- And a block party with live music and food from the forests, and a bounce house!
Everything is free, everyone is welcome.
This is a Cultural ArtWeek Event.
*Chalk Art Festival is open to artists of all ages. Sidewalk space and chalk are provided. Art must include an image of a tree. More information at Mason Library. All events are free and open to the public.
