Volunteer

Volunteers are a crucial part of the Great Barrington Land Conservancy.

From the beginning days of Housatonic River Walk, when dedicated volunteers hauled tons of debris and garbage from the river bank, we have relied on volunteers to get the job done.

Our volunteers have helped to maintain the trails at the Lake Mansfield Conservation Forest and Pfeiffer Arboretum, pulled out invasive plants from the lake or Fountain Threemile Hill Trail, helped to staff our annual road race Run for the Hills, or even stuffed envelopes for our annual Hullaballoo fundraiser.

We are a small town land conservancy with a big mission.
