Beyond the Buoys: Open Water Swim Fundraiser for Lake Mansfield

Register to join open water swim fundraiser led by local swim team on Sunday, June 26th

This June, the Simon’s Rock Pacemakers, an affiliate of United States Masters Swimming association (USMS), will be hosting Beyond the Buoys, an open water swim fundraiser for Lake Mansfield, at Lake Mansfield.

At the open water swim, you’ll first learn how to safely swim in local lakes, with a clinic taught by Great Barrington resident and life-long swim safety expert, Bill Meier. There will be two swims offered at the event: one as a shorter swim, if you’re new to open water swimming, another as a half-mile swim, if you’re a more experienced swimmer.

The suggested donation for this event is $25 for individuals and $50 for families. The minimum cost to participate is $10 for individuals or $25 for families. Registration fees can be paid in advance via check, or on the day of the event. All checks must be written out to: “Great Barrington Land Conservancy / LM” and can be mailed with paper registration forms to Bill Meier at Bard College at Simon’s Rock Kilpatrick Athletic Center (84 Alford Rd, Great Barrington, MA 01230). If you are not paying in advance, registration fees will be accepted on the day of the event at check-in.

Additional donations to the Great Barrington Land Conservancy are welcome! Any donations beyond registration fees should be made directly through this link. Please select ‘Lake Mansfield’ from the drop down menu to direct your donation to the Lake Mansfield Alliance.
