Date and Time: Tuesday July 22, 2025, 5:00 PM-6:30 PM

Cost: Free and open to the public. Limited to 20.

Action plans will be discussed while walking through the property. Other topics included will be invasive plants, timber stand improvement, the complexities of supporting a healthy forest, enhancing native species and wildlife habitat improvement. Adam will discuss what is involved with hiring a consulting forester to create a Forest Stewardship Plan, why a landowner might want to have a plan, which type of plan is best for you, the benefits of such a plan, and the implementation of his recommendations for the Arboretum.
If you’ve ever considered hiring a forester to meet with you to discuss your property, here’s a chance to speak directly with a professional and get your questions answered.
Or, if you have suggestions or questions about the Pfeiffer Arboretum itself, or want to get involved with its stewardship, we’d love to hear from you!
Light snacks and refreshments will be served.
