GBLC was excited to welcome everyone to the premier Walk for Conservation. All Walkers were greeted at teh Olympian Meadows Registration area. Folks walking the 5mile Lake Mansfeild loop gathered up for the10AM start. At 11AM the next group of walkers left for the 1 mile or 2 mile walks. Roger the Jester helped to keep the walking lively! An upbeat energy dominated the morning as folks shared a brisk autumn walk with friends and family! 5milers and 2 milers converged to return to together down the Riverfront Trail. Thank you to our generous business sponsors! All walkers enjoyed seeing sponsors as they headed out and returned. Some families are planning to make the GBLC Walk for Conservation an annual event! Bagels, Bola Granola, Apples, Guido's Bananas and Robbie's Pizza were gobbled up by hungry participants! GBLC volunteers can't wait to celebrate community trails again next year! Thanks so much to this year's Walk for Conservation Chairperson and our GBLC Administrative Assistant for their their super job on this new annual event! Take a glimpse at GBLC's premiew Walk for Conservation! We look forward to building on this event in support for community trails in 2026!
