Let's be amazed! Trails bind communities together, let us see the beauty of the world, lead us on adventures, and so much more.”
Great Barrington Land Conservancy, Greenagers and the Southern Berkshire Rural Health Network have joined together to present the World Trails Film Festival at Monument Mountain Regional High School on Thursday, October 16 at 7 PM (doors open at 6:30).
Come join us for a free screening of nine short award-winning films from around the world and the United States. This 90-minute program with films from Taiwan, Egypt, United States, Nepal, Tajikistan, & Lebanon reveal the beauty of landscapes and cultures experienced while walking, keeping motivated in the face of challenging expeditions, serendipitous trail magic, and why trails matter to communities.
“The World Trails Film Festival is made by and for trail-loving communities worldwide and we’re very excited partnering with these local organizations to bring our films to Berkshire County,” said Jay Simpson, Festival Director of Trails Film. “Presented on the big screen, our films reflect the many ways trails play a vital role in our lives and communities.
