A capable industrious volunteer group brought their energies to help at the southern Section of the Riverfront Trail. Their mission was to help improve this riparian habitat area by removing invasive species. They teamed up with eagerness and ingenuity to grab bittersweet . . . seek out burning bush (winged euonymous). No volunteer was too small! No task was too big! Working together, the Hevreh volunteers were able to ... ... gather up vast quantities of the targeted invasive plants. They removal of these prolific plants will provide for the space and light needed by native plants that support a myriad of native bird and insect species~ Thank YOU Hevreh Volunteers!
