Energy, joy, and a sense of accomplishment were the hallmarks of the 2017 Run for the Hills Run/Walk. For six years Great Barrington Land Conservancy (GBLC) has invited the community to participate in this annual fundraiser designed to get folks outside and actively enjoying our beautiful natural open spaces. The day includes 3 events (10K, 5K, and 1K Fun Run) and is a great way for athletes of every range of ability to join in. Friends and families of runners and walkers had a great time cheering at the finish lines. A large number of volunteers makes the entire day possible. A growing host of generous business sponsors allow us to provide this community event and to raise the funds necessary to support annual GBLC land conservation, trail stewardship, and community programs for the entire family.
